SUMMARY:First European Land Stewardship Congress - Barcelona 2014
DESCRIPTION:The First European Land Stewardship Congress will take place in Barcelona from November 5th to 8th. In this first edition\, workshops\, round tables\, exhibitions\, video presentations and networking spaces will be made to facilitate the exchange of experiences among the participants. More than 40 internationally renowned speakers will participate in scheduled activities. \nFirst European Land Stewardship Congress – Barcelona 2014 \nThe Congress will focus on the following topics: \nLand Stewardship and European and sectoral policies or Technical implementation of Land Stewardship\nNetworking & the involvement of stakeholders and citizens in Land Stewardship\nFunding Land Stewardship\nCommunicating Land Stewardship\nEnhancing innovation in Land Stewardship\nIt is also planning a tour on November 8 where different experiences of stewardship will be visited. \nDuring the Congress\, will discuss and sign the Barcelona Declaration on Land Stewardship to give impetus to these initiatives at regional and European level. \nHere’s a video of the Biodiversity Foundation which explains what a Land Stewardship Project: \n\n
